what we do
Watershed Works was conceived by Sophia Raab in a grungy
apartment in upper Manhattan several years ago. Since then, their first production,
Come Lovely, has taken them around the country to many festivals including Hamptons
International, Newport Beach, Woodstock, Rhode Island International, Dahlonega
and the LA International Shorts. A beautiful short directed by Jake Davis and
shot in upstate New York, Come Lovely marked a wonderful beginning for Watershed
Works.
Currently Watershed finished filming their first full length feature, Racing
Daylight. Visit the site at www.racingdaylightthemovie.com
Also near completion is a full length documentary entitled 21 Below, which
is an intimate exploration of women and the choices they have to make in regards
to family in the current social and political climates.
As for the future, several good stories are in the works... not the least of
which would be Nicole Quinn's (writer/director of Racing Daylight) next peice
entitled Slap & Tickle.
